Having just returned to South Africa from a medical conference in Brazil, it saddens me that our country is in dire straits, in every single facet, and from top to bottom. Calls for the resignation of our President Cyril Ramaphosa are trending on social media. Load shedding is affecting businesses, cellular networks and livelihoods. The fuel price hikes in an already crippled economy are only going to anger the masses even more.
