When I started writing this piece for Vuka News, Good Friday Edition, I began questioning - what exactly is "good" about
today and more so the last week. Like many others from KZN, I'm still trying to make sense of the devastation that last week's
rains and flooding have left behind. Making sense of it is for me the hardest part. These are the same areas that were targeted
(we all know by now those were not random) by the looting almost a year ago. With over 340 fatalities, more livelihoods
destroyed and millions of rands worth of property damage and losses in such a short period, at the tail end of the "pandemic"
to boot, will KZN truly recover?
